Hardware Developer (m/f/d) in electrical engineering for EMC-compliant circuitry at our locations in Hamburg and/or Kiel

 
Since our foundation in spring 2009, in our capacity as a medium-sized company we have established partnerships with companies in the aerospace, semiconductor, defense and automotive industries as well as in the laboratory technology, medical technology and renewable energy sectors. Development of our own measurement, control and regulation technology products and the completion of numerous exciting and challenging projects within the above industries has enabled us to build an excellent reputation on the basis of our expertise in hardware and embedded software development, consultation and the testing of complex systems.

To address the increasing sophistication and demands within our product development projects, we are seeking a

Hardware Developer (m/f/d) in electrical engineering for EMC-compliant circuitry

Your responsibilities:

  • Creation and evaluation of design concepts for digital, analog and/or mixed signal circuitry
  • Development of prototypes within the scope of feasibility testing
  • Implementation of concepts from circuit design and simulation through to circuit layout and supervision of external manufacturing
  • Integration and commissioning, including assembly diagnostics
  • Preparation of technical documents within the scope of development and qualification

Your qualifications:

  • Degree in electrical engineering or comparable qualification or training
  • Verifiable experience in the development of complex, EMC-compliant circuitry
  • Enjoy working hands-on
  • Excellent knowledge of Altium Designer and/or Mentor Graphics
  • Experience in unit and component selection within the facets of obsolescence and the expedient application of such
  • Knowledge of the requirements for manufacture-optimized design
  • Experience in the development of hardware from the customer concept stage through to series maturity, ideally on the V-model basis
  • Initial experience in approval and lab qualification processes
  • Knowledge of industry-specific or cross-sector norms and standards desirable
  • An avid willingness to learn and actively integrate within a team
  • Fluent written and spoken German and a good command of technical English
