On July 15, the kick-off event of the newly founded Embedded Systems Network Schleswig-Holstein took place at the Seeburg in Kiel. Around 50 specialists and managers from 30 companies came together to network, exchange knowledge and provide joint impetus for the industry.
Oliver Schuster and Michael Schenk took part on behalf of e.bs kumkeo.
The network has a clear objective:
- Making embedded expertise more visible in the north
- Targeted networking of players
- Pooling and strengthening expertise
After a welcome address by Dr. Michael Timmermann (WT.SH), Prof. Andreas Aßmuth gave a practical presentation on the Cyber Resilience Act (CRA) – with a focus on implementation strategies and implications for embedded systems.
The companies then presented themselves in short pitches, followed by open networking in a relaxed atmosphere.
Outlook:
The network is planning four events per year in future, each with a different host company. The successful kick-off shows: The embedded community in the north is ready for more collaboration and visibility.
