The BiSS gateway enables the connection of up to two sensors that implement the BiSS safety protocol. The data received is forwarded from the BISS gateway to a PROFINET IO controller via PROFINET and PROFIsafe. This allows more and more accurate data to be provided with fewer sensors. The result is longer and optimized operation of the application at lower costs.
