Configuration management

Complex systems consist of many different and interconnected components and subcomponents, each of which consists of mechanical, electrical, electronic or software parts and subparts. They can also have their own parameterization. The life cycle of such systems, i.e. from development to operation to obsolescence, is essentially administratively managed by configuration management by describing each dedicated compilation ("configuration unit") of relevant artifacts and tracking any changes to their content or status. Such a compilation includes all work results such as software releases, hardware components, relevant documents and files for the components involved in the system, their parameterization and the relationship between them. We set up and operate the configuration management system and support you with any necessary changes, versioning or development of complex systems and their components.
