Embedded Software Developer (m/f/d)
These are your challenges:
- Creation and evaluation of design concepts for embedded software or software for embedded operating systems
- Rapid prototyping as part of feasibility tests
- Realization of concepts from component and module design to implementation and testing
- Expansion of existing concepts and developments
- Support for testing and integration
- Creation of technical documentation as part of development and for qualification
What you bring with you:
- Completed studies in electrical engineering, information technology or a comparable course of study or equivalent training
- Proven skills with various microcontrollers (e.g. Cortex M0, M4) and in the development of software with C and/or C++
- Knowledge of various bus systems (e.g. RS232, I2C)
- Experience with a structured software development process from the customer idea to the acceptance test, ideally based on the V-model
- Experience in the development of protocols and drivers as well as with real-time operating systems is desirable
- Experience in UML-based software design is an advantage
- Knowledge of industry-specific or cross-industry norms and standards is a plus
- Coordinative skills and the will to actively integrate into a team
- Fluent written and spoken German and a good command of English
